Kelly's Project

Kelly decided last winter after we had a gas bill that was over $400 ..Ya and I was clothed in hoodies and wool sock always...that we needed to install a wood stove. I wasn't so sure about having a wood stove in my living room but I gave in. The story of the stove is actually funny.He found one on KSL for five hundred dollars. He took me to look at it because he is too chicken to barter with people. To say the least I got it for one hundred instead of five. So he bricked the wall , built a chimney, chopped down some trees and wala we have some inexpensive heat. It actually is nice. And it is starting to not smell like we live in the woods now. That Great..He had to drill through our cinterblock wall to get the pipe out and it made such a mess. I just have to say how greatful I am that Kelly is Super Talented. He can do anything if you can just get him to do it..Way to go KEll

Girls Room Ideas

Im in the middle of painting several areas in the house. Girls room included. I can't decide how to do it. So many cute choices when you start looking. Here are some Ideas I have found that are cool. I am kinda loving the charcoal and pink idea, but pink and orange would be really fresh and cute too. I don't know. What do you think?

Neighborhood bash

My neighbors are having a full on stomp in their backyard for their kids. They have really loud d.j going. It sounds like i have music going in my house. I know that it would be fun if I was in high school, but now that I am trying to sleep along with the rest of my family.. Is it cool of them to do it , I don't know. I'm sure the neighbors are all loving it too!

Paneling & Fabric

Here are some samples of some fabric I found to use in my main living area. I am forevor confused about what to do...thought these were cute. Then some new paneling in entrance going up the stairs. It is going to be painted all white when it is done.The picture that looks good is the inspiration picture.
